In 1988, High End Systems Inc. created its own Optical Lab to produce dichroic filters that could satisfy its strict color tolerances and withstand the high energy output of the lamp sources in a new breed of luminaires.

To this day, High End Systems is the only manufacturer of entertainment lighting that produces its own dichroic filters.

The Optical Lab designs and manufactures all of High End Systems’ optical effects, filters and lithographic components used in its lighting fixtures and products.

HES dichroic products are used in the entertainment lighting industry, architectural lighting both indoors and out, the art industry and in scientific applications.

The HES Optical Lab supplies custom products to commercial, industrial, retail, advertising and entertainment clients.
